What data we collect
We collect only what we need.
Contact form
When you use our contact form, you give us:
- your name
- your email address
- your company name (optional)
- the service you are interested in
- your message
Please do not include sensitive information (for example health details) in your message. We do not need it.
When you email us directly, we receive your email address, name and anything you write.
Website visits
When you visit the website, our hosting provider’s servers automatically record basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the date and time. This is standard for any website and is used to keep the site running and secure. [CONFIRM: Hostinger log retention]
We do not use analytics tools, advertising pixels or any other tracking on this website. Our fonts are stored on our own server, so loading a page does not send your data to a font provider.
03
How we use it and our lawful bases
UK data protection law requires a lawful basis for each use of your data.
Replying to your enquiry and preparing a quote
Data: contact form or email details. Lawful basis: steps before entering into a contract at your request, and our legitimate interests in answering people who contact us.
Keeping a record of our correspondence
Data: contact form or email details. Lawful basis: legitimate interests in keeping track of conversations and handling any follow-up.
Keeping the website working and secure
Data: technical data in server logs. Lawful basis: legitimate interests in running a safe, working website, for example blocking attacks and fixing errors.
Meeting legal obligations
Data: contact and business details. Lawful basis: legal obligation, for example keeping business and tax records if you become a client.
We do not use your data for marketing unless you have asked us to, we do not sell it, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
If you become a client, we will handle any personal data we process on your behalf under a separate written agreement (a data processing agreement). That work is not covered by this policy.
06
International transfers
Our hosting provider’s infrastructure may be located outside the UK, for example in the European Economic Area (EEA). [CONFIRM: Hostinger data centre location]
Where your data is transferred outside the UK, we make sure it is protected by one of the safeguards allowed under UK law:
- UK adequacy regulations, which recognise that a country (including EEA countries) protects personal data to an adequate standard; or
- the International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
You can email us for more information about the safeguards we use.
07
How long we keep it
After these periods we delete the data or make it anonymous.
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract
6 months after our last contact with you.
Correspondence and records for clients
6 years after the end of the contract, as required by UK law (company and tax accounting records).
Server logs
Only as long as our hosting provider keeps them. [CONFIRM: Hostinger log retention]
Website backups
Up to 30 days, then overwritten.
08
Security
We use sensible technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access only for people who need it, strong passwords and keeping our software up to date.
No system is completely secure, but if a breach affects your data and puts you at risk, we will tell you and, where required, the ICO.
09
Your rights
Free to use. We reply within one month.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Access: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

- Erasure: ask us to delete your data.
- Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data, for example while we check a complaint.
